Will It Fit?
Use the checker below to confirm your vehicle hitch and bike weight are compatible with eMotorack. Always verify your vehicle's hitch tongue weight rating before loading — never exceed the lowest-rated component.
Safety first: eMotorack carriers are rated for specific maximum weights. Your vehicle's hitch tongue weight rating may be lower than the carrier limit — always load within the lowest-rated component. Check your vehicle owner's manual for the tongue weight capacity. Never exceed rated limits.
Fitment Checker
Answer four questions to get a recommendation. This is a guide — always verify your vehicle specs.
1. What size receiver hitch does your vehicle have?
2. What is your vehicle's hitch tongue weight rating?
Found in your vehicle owner's manual under "towing" or "hitch" specs.
3. How many bikes do you want to carry?
4. How much does your bike weigh?
For e-motos, this is the weight with battery installed.
Fitment Requirements
2-Inch Receiver Hitch Required
eMotorack uses a standard 2-inch (Class III or Class IV) hitch shank. 1¼-inch receivers are not compatible. Most trucks, SUVs, and many crossovers have a 2-inch receiver — check your vehicle specs or look at the opening size.
Verify Your Tongue Weight Rating
The tongue weight rating is the maximum downward force your hitch can handle. It is always lower than the total towing capacity. Find it in your vehicle owner's manual. Add carrier tare (~65 lb single, ~110 lb dual) to your bike weight(s) to estimate total tongue load.
Battery Removal for E-Motos
Removing the battery from an e-moto reduces weight by 40–60 lb. For dual-bike loads, we strongly recommend removing batteries from both bikes to stay within the 400 lb combined limit and reduce tongue load on your vehicle.
Never Exceed the Lowest-Rated Component
Your vehicle, hitch, and receiver each have their own weight ratings. Always load within the lowest of these three ratings. If your vehicle's tongue weight rating is lower than the carrier's rated capacity, the vehicle rating governs.
